Electrocom Solutions is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract for the new Avington residential development, the site will consist of a Community Centre and 300 dwellings split into 3 stages. Electrocom will install a GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) that will deliver voice, data, MATV & PayTV using optical wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) so a single fibre can be used for both downstream and upstream data to deliver services to the residential homes.
