Electrocom Solutions is pleased to announce that it has been appointed for the communications infrastructure for the Marngoneet Correction Centre (MCC) and Metropolitan Remand Centre (MRC) prison expansion. The projects consists of a Molex Category 6A copper network with significant fibre optic infrastructure to the new and existing prison.
The Community Safety Building Authority is managing a $791 million program to upgrade existing infrastructure at five Victorian prisons across four regions, Electrocom Solutions are pleased to be involved with two of these being :
Marngoneet Correctional Centre (Lara)
Metropolitan Remand Centre (Ravenhall)
The program is part of the government’s $1.8 billion investment in the 2019-20 Budget to provide flexible prison capacity, deliver programs to break the cycle of reoffending and keep people out of prison.
We look forward to working with Anova to deliver another successful project with completion in 2023.
